Abstract | This work seeks to show the interesting and little explored feedback between anime andart. To do this, it’s divided into three parts. The first, presents an approachto the concepts of art and anime through authors such as Eric Hobsbawm, ShinobuPrice and Vanina Papalini, with emphasis on the appreciation of the art intoday's society. The second part presents examples of the influence of art inthe design and content of animated projects such as Death Note, The TwelveKingdoms and Gankutsuou. Finally, two cases of the influence of anime in theworld of art are exposed,, Japanese plastic artist Takashi Murakami and theexhibition KRAZY!
